Simon helped my day go so smoothly, he entertained the guests when I was fashionably late to my own wedding. He looked after my 90 year old grandad like he was royalty, he helped guide my bridesmaid down the aisle, he helped guide the guests to the right places and got them hyped up whenever me and my husband enter the room or just walking round the corner. I throughly enjoyed my day and remember all of it thanks to not stressing about every little thing. We were fortunate to have Simon as our Toastmaster for our wedding on 15th August 2026 at Fawsley Hall, Daventry, and we honestly could not have asked for anyone better. On a beautiful summer’s day, our ceremony took place outside on the lawn overlooking the lake, followed by canapés and fizz in the courtyard, accompanied by a wonderful string duo. The celebrations continued with our wedding breakfast in the venue, cake cutting, first dance, and a hog roast in the evening. From start to finish, Simon worked seamlessly with the venue team and all of our suppliers, particularly the photographers, ensuring that everything ran exactly to plan. His organisation, professionalism, and attention to detail meant that every aspect of the day flowed effortlessly. What stood out most was how thoughtful and considerate Simon was. He took the time to understand what was important to us and made sure everyone was looked after, especially my mother, who has mobility issues, and even our dog, who was a special part of our day. Nothing was forgotten, nothing was missed, and he kept the atmosphere upbeat and perfectly paced throughout. Simon completely understood and shared our vision for the day. So many of our guests commented on how seamless and well-organised everything felt, and that is largely thanks to him. Simon was simply amazing. If you have an opportunity to have a toastmaster at your event, I can’t recommend Simon enough!! He took the time to really understand us and our wedding before the big day, and was absolutely brilliant in making the day run so smoothly without a single issue! He has a great ability to engage the guests and I’ve heard nothing but positive feedback on him from our guests! It felt so personal despite him just having met us, he spent time with and kept an eye on my elderly gran which I also really appreciated. Simon was absolutely amazing for my daughter and son in law’s wedding.  He went above and beyond his role.  All of the grooms party were from the USA and had never been to an English wedding before.  Simon met with the whole wedding party the night before to give guidance.  He managed their length of speeches as so many wished to speak, he co-ordinated with everyone so they knew what to expect.  It would have been chaos otherwise.  He also coordinated with the photographer so photos were done as quickly as possible.  The next group were always ready. Wow! What can we say, if you are even contemplating whether to have a toastmaster and you’ve looked at Simon’s profile DO IT! The best thing we did at our wedding was to hire Simon. We found that people just didn’t really want the responsibility of announcing anything.  However the amount of work that we put into our wedding, we wanted to make sure it ran smoothly. Simon will elevate your wedding to the next level!! He will make it pop! Not only is he very polished, professional but he’s also just a fabulous person, such a lovley guy and fun too.  We had so many comments and the biggest thing for us, we could relax and know that Simon was taking care of everything.  It made our wedding very slick and seamless, very well organised. Not only did Simon do all the amazing organising on the day but in the run up to the event he gave us valuable tips which we incorporated. I first met Simon at one of the wedding fares. Part of our package included a toastmaster and I knew after meeting him I really wanted him at our wedding. Our wedding planner managed to confirm that Simon would be available which was great. He contacted us around a week or so before the big day. We talked about how the day would go and what we were after etc. He arrived around midday to great all the guests and get them seated. The whole day ran so smoothly and I think that is partly down to Simon. He was so pleasant and professional. He was amazing and I can't thank him enough for being there and making sure everything ran on time. Thank you so much Simon for being part of our day and making it run so smoothly. Simon was a key part of our wedding day! I cannot recommend him enough! We had some difficult guests especially with all the drinking towards the end and he was very good at keeping them in line. He was so friendly, confident and very nice overall. Where do I start…I booked Simon for my wedding in November at a beautiful venue in reading having high hopes about him from another friend useing him for her wedding! And wow did he outdo my expectations after speaking with him a week befor my wedding asking all sorts of questions a bride worries about he was absolutely amazing telling me everything I wanted to hear lol on the day he kept handing my champagne for our pics lol and just telling guests where to go est aswell as checking up on me and the groom got everyone waving napkins as me and my bridal party entered for our wedding breakfast just made the day so organized and special couldn’t thank Simon enough! Simon was an absolutely amazing toastmaster! We had a call with him about a week before the event where he spent time to gather personal information about us to use on the day. Simon was a great help with making sure everyone was where they should be for the photos/confetti etc. and even got all of our guests ready for our entrance to the wedding breakfast. All the guests were standing, cheering and had their napkins in the air which wasn't something we had even thought of doing! All of our friends and family said how wonderful it was to have him at the wedding and were all singing his praises after the day. The personal touches he brought to the day made everyone feel at ease and very comfortable to have him around. I would 100% recommend Simon to anyone getting married - you won't regret it. Simon was our toastmaster recently for our wedding in the UK. What we didn’t realise was how small the world really is and how Simon was the father of my Husbands best mate in Australia. We got married in Italy in Australia and then had a second wedding in the UK for all our family and friends who couldn’t make it to Australia. Simon genuinely was the greatest asset we had for our day. He organised a very Italian wedding not only into every photo we requested but also got every single person on their feet waving napkins as we entered and exited. Simon is an incredible Toastmaster and you will not be disappointed with his professionalism and all around care for not only his bride and groom but also every guest in attendance! Simon is awesome! We had him as the toastmaster for our wedding last week and he was such a fantastic addition to the whole day! His communication before the event was massively helpful and informative and helped us really relax in the build up! On the day he was absolutely awesome! He was so welcoming and made us and all our guests feel very special. He always had an eye on timings and made sure everything ran seamlessly behind the scenes, working with our other suppliers and photographer to ensure everything was perfect and exactly how we wanted it! He did such a great and professional job in entertaining everyone with his humour, organising people for photos and moving guests between the different rooms we were in for our welcome drinks and wedding breakfast. Simon was the ToastMaster at our daughters wedding on the 13/08/23 and I cannot recommend him highly enough from start to finish. He did an amazing job at getting our guests to the right places at the right times. He was so helpful and cheerful throughout the day really got the crowd going to share the new bride and groom I will definitely use Simon again if I have any future events and if anyone is thinking of using Simon I would 100% recommend him. I didn’t know that I needed a Master of Ceremony, until I met Simon… Si was recommended to us by our venue. I traded emails with him, and right from the get-go he was polite, engaging and professional. At the time, my now Husband wasn’t convinced. “It’s fine. We’ll do it all ourselves” was the comment that nearly caused us to not get married (!) but 10-minutes in to a conversation with Si, he was sold. Si did a brilliant job of succinctly articulating his role in our day and the types of things that he could, and would, do. Fast forward 18 months to the day, and Si arrived in good time, got changed (his outfit is brilliant and brings a degree of formality to the day without being stuffy) and immediately set to work. He greeted Guests as they arrived, was an interface between our Suppliers and the Venue and always ensured that my Husband and I were where we needed to be (and always had a glass of champagne in our hands!). He took the time to learn the names of our Parents, spent some time with them and referred to them by name (which went down really well with them, as it made them feel special). Without hesitation I can say that our day would not have gone as brilliantly as it did without Si being there. He was pivotal to the day and had such a positive impact. His attention to detail was so finessed – even little things like standing at the back of the ceremony room and indicating when my Husband and I should begin to walk out (and where to go), and warming our Guests up and doing a grand introduction as we walked in to our dinner. Simply put – Si is brilliant at what he does. He’s also a decent human being too. My Husband and I are delighted that he was there and part of our incredible day. Top man.

My husband and I got married on the 24.06.2023 at Pendley Manor. Simon was amazing in keeping the day on track and supporting us throughout. A couple of times throughout the day, Simon would take us to one side with a glass of champagne to allow my Husband and I to have a few minutes of time together to reflect. He would tell us through the day to make sure we relaxed and enjoyed it which helped take all the stress away. I would highly recommend Simon as a toastmaster to anyone looking to get married. Simon is just incredible at what he does, he is without doubt the very best in the business and we just love the weddings where we know he is there to help. He has an incredible way of making sure the couple, suppliers and venue are all looked after and always goes above for everyone and ALWAYS with a smile on his face! Nothing is ever too much trouble and by the end of the day you will feel as though you have known him for years. Simon was amazing. The day flowed so much better with Simon coordinating it. If it wasn't for Simon, we wouldn't have got the photos we wanted as we were so busy being swept away by the day. Simon is so warm, friendly, knowledgeable and personable. He remembers the small details, has a great personality and is incredibly efficient and professional at what he does. I couldnt imagine any toastmaster outperforming him. He strikes the perfect balance and listened to everything we wanted and delivered. He helped make our day perfect. My wife and I would like to thank Simon who was our toast master at our wedding. We had an initial call with Simon which helped put us at ease with how the day would run. On the day we both met Simon individually before the ceremony and he was excellent. The day ran as he said it would and he planned in breaks for us so we could catch our breath and have moments to ourselves. What can I say about the man the myth the legend who is Simon Shirley. We witnessed him in all his glory at a previous family members wedding and absolutely smashed it. So it was a no brainer for him to be part of our special day. Through his hilarious sense of humour that bubbly loveable personality,  kind and gentle presence, flawless service and the level of control he creates around his surroundings that demands your attention is amazing to see. He made our day go smooth as ever the weather was shining guests were smiling and Simon just kept the day flowing with pure ease. His attention to detail is super impressive and the awareness and knowledge he possesses with weddings is fascinating as he makes his role as Toastmaster a walk in the park. Truly one of our best decisions we made to have the presence of this great man at our wedding he made the day go as stress free as possible with his continuous support. This genuine kind hearted dapper distinguished gentleman in his magnificent red coat lived up to the title Toastmaster Master of Ceremony. Me and my partner highly recommend him if you want to be smiling through your big day. Tearle wedding 26.05.23 - Pendley manor. Simon was incredible from start to finish. He contacted us a week before the wedding and went through roughly what we would’ve like to happen. Obviously we kept very open mind as it doesn’t always go to plan.  Simon helped our day run smoothly and it went perfectly. He got the crowd roaring. And he was on point at every Q. I definitely recommend getting him for your wedding, made us so relaxed and it was like a weight lifted of our shoulders.  He was polite and respectful to all our guests and made everyone feel welcome. He was a great laugh and kept the guests happy. We were so worried we wouldn’t be able to enjoy ourselves because we would be stressing about everyone and everything, but Simon made sure everything was perfect! The day was perfect! Simon Shirley was the toast master at our wedding on Saturday 3rd December, Simon was absolutely amazing on the day before the wedding we set up a telephone call to go through everything and Simon already had planned out how the day would go. Simon will make sure that you are well looked after and made extra special on the day of your wedding. He will make sure you have the time to yourself before the wedding breakfast and will check in with you every couple of hours. All I can say is Thank you so much Simon for making our day extra special and being part of it to share with us. There are no words to describe how amazing Simon was at our Wedding. We can't thank Simon enough for everything he did for us and our guests on our wedding day. The day would undoubtedly not gone as smooth and well without Simon!! Simon went above and beyond to make sure that we and our guests were happy. His experience in assisting at weddings is self-evident and the kindness he showed to me as I was particularly nervous! Simon instantly put me at ease. Simon met with us prior to the wedding to ensure he was fully aware of our plans for the day and our wishes, of which he remembered every single one. Simon provided an excellent service for our big day. He was clear and enthusiastic in his planning before the day and carried out his duties with aplomb. He coralled the guests expertly and was more than happy to take loads of photos as we didn't hire a professional photographer. Not only an excellent toastmaster making sure everyone's day runs smoothly and on schedule... Simon is utterly dependable and thoughtful with both couples and guests throughout. One of the first things you must do when getting married is book Simon Shirley to be your toastmaster. We got married at Pendley Manor in August 2022 and Simon was so incredibly vital to our day going so smoothly. We met Simon at a wedding fair in March and became hooked that we needed him for our day and we're so glad we did. He was incredibly warm and friendly every time we spoke with him, a real calming presence when it's a crazy stressful day at times. All our family and friends have commented on how energetic, friendly and hilarious he was and how he really bought some joy and fun into the whole day. Simon made sure my new husband and I had a few moments throughout the day with a glass of bubbles just to sit and relax and enjoy a moment together amongst all the love and craziness of the day, which we really appreciated. Simon also went the extra mile when he helped my dad with getting through his pre speech nerves & with the slight change of speech order with grace & a smile. As a wedding photographer, I can honestly, say that Simon helps our couples' wedding days run smoothly and enjoyably. He provides a connection point between all the suppliers to make sure things are coordinated and brings energy and enthusiasm to the proceedings. We can’t thank Simon enough for everything that he did on our wedding day. He was absolutely fantastic and kept the day running like clockwork, but he also made it very fun which is exactly the vibe we were going for. From our first conversation with him, we knew he was the perfect guy for the job. His attention to detail was great, and he was so accommodating for some of our family members who had health conditions or were elderly. He also made some great suggestions about how the day should run, which helped the day go off smoothly. He was so professional, and bounced off our photographers and videographers. He ensured we were relaxed and enjoyed our wedding day - he took the stress out of everything! We as well as our guests absolutely loved him, he was friendly, enthusiastic and nothing was too much trouble. Words will never be able to express how thankful we are for him making our day so special, it meant so much to us to have him be part of our wedding. We were lucky enough to secure Simon for our wedding at the Crazy Bear on 22/4/22. I can’t express how glad I am that Simon was there, he was just brilliant! Not only was he super friendly and helpful, he was extremely professional and clearly very experienced. He kept everyone in check and made sure everything ran smoothly and to time. All my guests made comment about how fantastic he was and what a contribution he made to the day. If you are considering a toastmaster for your big day I would not hesitate to recommend Simon. Hi Simon We just wanted to say a massive thank you once again for your help on Friday. It made such a huge difference and i now wonder how things run smoothly without someone like you there haha You were more than helpful in re arranging some of the plans so that we could help make things less stressful for our baby who found the day a little too much at times. What can we say? Simon was the toast master for our wedding last weekend. Si was part of our package at Pendley Manor, Tring and whilst we initially thought we didn't need a toast master, we couldn't have been more wrong. From our initial telephone conversation we hit it off with Si. Si is so knowledgeable re everything weddings, offers advice and makes suggestions we hadn't even thought of which ultimately helped us. Si is down to earth, funny, professional and an utterly nice bloke.
